Whenusingtheanalyzer,itisrecommendedtouseasystemtogeneratebustrafficanda
secondsystemtorunthesoftware,toavoidcharacterizationofanalyzertraffic.
Connecting in General
Note:Youmustinstallthesoftwarebeforeconnectingtheanalyzertothehostmachineforthefirst
time.
Tosetuptheanalyzer:
1. Plugthepoweradapterintotheunit,andthenplugthepoweradapterintoa100V–
240V,50Hz–60Hz,poweroutlet.TurnonthePowerswitch.
Atpoweron,theanalyzerwillgothroughinitializationasshownontheLCDdisplay.
2. ConnecttheUSBcablebetweentheSierraM6‐4USBportandaUSBportonthe
HostPC.ThehostPCoperatingsystemdetectstheanalyzeranddriverfiles.
3. ConnecttheanalyzerasshowninFigure1.4.
